Multi threading

Hi, I read Oops physics is able to run on a separate thread. But I was wondering if it could share load on multiple threads as well? Thanks

Hi Xcone,

Thanks for the interest in my project.  Currently the physics component cannot scale to multiple threads.  I have an interest in doing this at some point but I'm not going to be pursuing it anytime soon.

The parts of it I've seen look good. Way better then I will be able to produce on my own anyway :)

My desire is to separate each mayor process on a varying amount of threads. That way I can let the engine benifit of each core of the CPU. Be it 1 core, or 8 cores, or even more in the future. So naturally, the physics part must be cut in pieces as well :)

I'm sorry to hear your physics component doesn't support that.

Do yo know of any information that can help me on creating my own physics? It's something I wanted to learn anyway. But I need a good start. (something with not too much formulas, but focussing on explaining the basics instead. I'll find the formulas later :) ).

Thanks
