Release Notes

This is the first beta release of the Oops! Framework. the associated file contains the source code from Change Set 12708.

Framework
  • Added XBox 360 version. Uses the same source as the Windows version with a few directives for platform differences.
  • Removed serialization constructors from game service exception classes.
  • Added a 3x3 transmformation method to the Vector3 extension class.
Physics
  • Added collision information to collision callbacks.
  • Added impulse application methods to the RigidBody class.
  • Removed ValueType creations in the CollisionBox class's collision logic.
  • Removed ValueType creations in the CollisionWedge class's collision logic.
  • Fixed auto-disable feature.
  • Uses 3x3 transformation method where appropriate.
  • Added linear and angular motion information to the RigidBody class.
Testing Application
  • Added XBox 360 version. Uses the same source as the Windows version with a few directives for platform differences.
  • Added a new texture for wedge shapes.
  • Added inherited versions of collision shapes for better drawing performance.
  • Modified placement and text of reset message.
  • Activated auto-disable feature on rigid bodies.
  • Added visual cues of auto-disabled objects.
  • Added collision callback placeholder.
General
  • Included Xbox 360 projects into solution.
