Release Notes

This beta release of the Oops! Framework contains the source code from Change Set 14354.

Framework
  • Added Integer Clamp method to MathExtension.
  • Added Heightmap drawing helper class.
Diagnostics
  • Added Screenshot component (Windows only).
Input
  • Moved InputComponent and IInputService to the Oops.Xna.Framework.Input namespace.
Physics
  • Started support for ray collisions. NOT COMPLETE!
  • Started support for heightmap collisions. NOT COMPLETE!
  • Changed collision methods to return number of collisions per comparison instead of just true/false.
  • Modified sphere-to-plane collision code for slightly better performance.
  • Fixed issue with shape being re-enabled with momentum from unnecessary collisions. See CollisionShape.CanCompare.
Testing Application
  • Added base ExampleScreen game screen. Changed current example to inherit from this screen.
  • Added heightmap collision example.
  • Added fake box stacking example.
  • Added screenshot support (Windows only). Just press F12.
  • Changed window title (Windows only).
